On August 4th, the first domestically-developed 27.5kV intelligent mobile high-voltage chamber, independently researched and manufactured by XJ Electric Corporation, has been officially put into operation at Yan'an Substation of Xi'an Railway Bureau.
This intelligent mobile high-voltage chamber was developed in response to practical needs such as the renovation of existing substations and equipment emergency scenarios. It is fully compliant with all standards governing railway power protection systems, while incorporating advanced intelligent functionalities including remote control and auxiliary monitoring. The chamber boasts distinct features such as high integration, safety and reliability, as well as flexible deployment.
Rapid Emergency Response
It can replace the high-voltage chamber in existing traction substations and realize "non-stop power renovation" during equipment overhauls, thus effectively ensuring the continuity of 27.5kV traction power supply for high-speed railways.
Building Intelligent Operation and Maintenance System
Integrated with a comprehensive automation system, it enables remote monitoring and "unattended operation". The annual maintenance cost can be reduced by 40%, and the staffing for on-duty personnel at a single site can be cut by 3-5 people.
Adapt to Complex Scenarios
The integrated design is particularly suitable for environments such as mountain railways. Compared with the 6-to-12-month construction cycle of traditional substations, its construction period is significantly shortened, saving approximately 60% of civil engineering costs. Moreover, it can be reused in different renovation projects, thereby markedly optimizing the whole-life cycle costs.
A Substantial Improvement in Construction Efficiency
With the advantages of simple primary and secondary wiring and easy operation and maintenance, the prefabricated cabin design reduces on-site workload, achieving cost reductions in construction, equipment and labor.
